Lava field ruins on desolate side of Maui where the road ends. So many ruins half covered by the 1000 year old lava flow, it boggles the mind ! This is where the Hawaiians said there was a white blonde and red haired race was living when they came to the islands from Tahiti. there is some similar cut stone work as the ruins I found in the jungle on the other side of the island ! The Hawaiians are afraid of this place and do not like to even talk about it !
